Tomorrow, August 17, 2016, marks the 50th Anniversary of the final live concert that the Beatles performed in Toronto.

The group performed here on three occasions, all at Maple Leaf Gardens (once a hockey shrine, now a grocery store; but's that's another story).

To reward those people who have kept mementos of days past, here's a pay-off (and you do not need to sell the souvenir)...

Even if YOU do not have a ticket ask your parents... or your siblings... or your favourite Uncle (who still wears Nehru jackets which, you have to admit, is pretty weird)... and if they have exactly what you need, borrow it and then...

Simply bring the original admission ticket stub (or the entire ticket if you have it) from any of the three Beatles live concert dates in Toronto* to Bloor West Winery, show it to Judy and claim your $50.00 discount on a new on-premise winemaking order.

This offer is valid on your choice of brand or wine style and is available until 4PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Think of it this way (with apologies to Lennon-McCartney who are credited with writing the song and the Beatles who performed it countless times. Reported, this song was one of their favorities)...

"In My Life"

There are wines that I remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some were pricey, some were vintage
Some have gone and some remain

All these wines had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all

But of all these wines -- both red and white
One such selection was exactly right
By proving I saw the Beatles in TO
My savings increased by 50 bucks or so!

Cheers... to 50 years of great musical memories!

David

P.S. This "Celebration of the Beatles' Toronto Concerts" offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount... and there is a limit of one selection per household.

P.P.S. Judy tells me that her older brother had many Beatles albums, including Rubber Soul which included "In My Life."

*The Beatles concert dates in Toronto were September 7, 1964, August 17, 1965 and August 17, 1966.
